Unfortunately, love seems to be in short supply these days. In the midst of an absolutely brutal political election season, are you feeling a lot of love out in the world? When you scroll through your facebook feed, do you get a warm fuzzy feeling from all the love you read there? Are your conversations with other people usually filled with feelings of love or something else? No – I would guess you are just like me and aren’t feeling the love out there and aren’t really loving like you should either.
This was a lesson that God had to teach me over an extended period of time but it made a tremendous difference in my life. Honestly, it’s a little difficult for me to talk about because I am embarrassed at the person I used to be. There was a time where I thought I was one of God’s superheroes.
